Mina Spring

Mina is a Partner at Cross Rapids.  She has 13 years of investing and corporate governance experience and has invested over $500 million of equity capital in her career.  She has dedicated herself to the industrial and services sectors, has sat on 6 corporate boards, including currently the Board of Wholesale Produce Supply, and has overseen 10 portfolio companies.

Prior to co-founding Cross Rapids in 2020, Mina was a Principal at Carlyle’s Equity Opportunity Fund, which was the firm’s middle market private equity arm.  She sourced and led transactions in industrial services and also played a key role in three portfolio companies acquired by Carlyle prior to her joining.  Prior to joining Carlyle, Mina was at Centerbridge Partners LP from 2011 to 2017 as a Principal and from 2007 to 2009 as an Associate.  At Centerbridge, Mina focused on private equity and special situations investing primarily in the industrial and services sectors.  Mina began her career as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs.

Mina graduated cum laude from Princeton University, where she earned an A.B. in Economics and a certificate in Finance.  She also received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
